Cartes i salut al segle XVI. Hipòlita Roís de Liori i Estefania de Requesens will be presented on Friday 7 February in Oliva, on Monday 17 February in Gandia and on Thursday 27 February in Riba-roja de Túria. The presentations will be attended by the author himself, Francesc Devesa i Jordà, a medical expert who has dedicated his life to the study of medical anthropology and the history of medicine.

The book is a co-publication between Publications of the Universitat de València (PUV) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and reveals the intimate universe of Hipólita Roís de Liori and Estefanía de Requesens, mother and daughter who, through their correspondence, reveal surprising details about illnesses, remedies, food, violence, religious rituals and the work of doctors, midwives and apothecaries in the Renaissance.
