The Publications Service of the UAB collaborates with the entities of the publishing sector that gather university publishers both at the national level: Unión de Editoriales Universitarias Españolas (UNE), and at the Catalan language level: Grup de Traball de Publicaciones de la Xarxa Vives d'Universitats (Publications Working Group of the Xarxa Vives d'Universitats).
It also has a collaboration agreement with Public Knowledge Project (PKP) for the promotion of open access software aimed at improving the quality and dissemination of scientific and academic publications.
At the same time, the publishing house co-organizes cultural dissemination and promotion activities with institutions in the territorial sphere of the UAB, such as the Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council, the Gabriel Ferrater Association and the Sant Cugat del Vallès City Council.
Unión de Editoriales Universitarias Españolas (UNE)
The UNE has an online bookstore, Unebook, where books from Spanish universities can be purchased in printed and digital format. It also supports digital interlibrary loan, which allows access to the online contents of the books of the participating entities.
Xarxa Vives d’universitats - Publications Working Group
The Xarxa Vives has the e-BUC digital bookstore, where you can buy books in Catalan from the member universities of this institution.
Public Knowledge Project (PKP)
PKP is the organization that has developed, among others, the Open Journal System application, for the management and publication of scientific journals, and Open Monograph Press, for the management and publication of scientific monographs. The Publications Service maintains a strategic collaboration with PKP in different areas.
Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council
The Publications Service of the UAB organizes every year, in collaboration with the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès, three literary prizes: the "Valldaura-Memorial Pere Calders" novel prize, the "Miquel Martí i Pol" poetry prize and the "Caterina Albert" short story prize for young people.
Sant Cugat del Vallès City Council and Gabriel Ferrater Association
The Publications Service of the UAB organizes with the City Council of Sant Cugat del Vallès and the Gabriel Ferrater Association the "Pensar más" award for young essay - Memorial Gabriel Ferrater, dedicated to the intellectual figure of Gabriel Ferrater.
