The Publications Service is a university publishing house that publishes and distributes its own books or in co-publication with other universities, institutions and public or private publishers. The Publications Service has two publishing imprints of its own: UAB Publications Service and UAB Editions.
Currently, the main line of work of the Service in the publishing field is aimed at promoting the publication of books in electronic format and promoting open science.
In addition to its own books, the Publications Service also puts its experience in the field of publishing at the service of the university community and offers the possibility of producing commissioned publications for its own centers or those linked to the UAB.
The Publications Service offers advice on defining the technical characteristics of the product and provides a detailed estimate to those users who are interested in making use of this service. Once the budget is accepted, the technical staff of the Service will be in charge of producing the book with professional editing criteria and delivering it when it is finished at the agreed place.
