On Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m., Espai Betúlia (Enric Borràs St. 43-47, Badalona) will host the presentation of the book Pompeu Fabra in Badalona. History of a Mural, a work that tells the story behind the mural dedicated to the renowned linguist at Can Casals, created by Badalona-based artist Artur Gil.
The event will feature Professor David Paloma, artist Artur Gil, and journalist and author Albert Costa, who brings to life in this book the connection between Fabra and the city.
An excellent opportunity to discover this artistic and cultural initiative that further enriches Fabra’s legacy in Badalona.

From 16 June to 30 September, the sixth edition of the Literary Journalism Prize will be open, with which the Master's in Literary Journalism, Communication and Humanities of the UAB, in collaboration with the Publications Service, distinguishes novel-lat reports and unpublished works of documentary literature in Catalan. The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès have published the full video of the 2025 Literary Awards ceremony, held on May 30 at the UAB Theatre Hall. The video features the highlights of the event, including speeches by institutional representatives and the awarding of the prizes to the winning works of the 16th Caterina Albert Short Story Award for Young Writers, the 30th Miquel Martí i Pol Poetry Award, and the 31st Valldaura–Pere Calders Memorial Novel Award.
The 84th edition of the Fira del Llibre de Madrid will be held from 30 May to 15 June. The Servei de Publicacions de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is exhibiting some of its new publications for the 2024-2025 academic year at the stand of the Unión de Editoriales Universitarias Españolas (UNE).
