The books of the 2024 edition of the Premis Literaris, organised jointly every year by the Ajuntament de Cerdanyola del Vallès and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, will be presented on Thursday 7 November at 13 noon at the Institut Gorgs de Cerdanyola del Vallès (Carrer de l'Àliga, 65).
The winners were announced last May at the prize-giving ceremony held at the UAB. Carla Clúa Alcón, with her work Pausa, sucre, Sevilla, was the winner of the 15th ‘Caterina Albert’ short story award for young people. Josep Antoni Aguilar Àvila, with his work Ballar amb els espectres, and Josep Domènech Ponsatí, with his work Eixint de fer, were declared joint winners of the 29th ‘Miquel Martí i Pol’ poetry prize. Miquel Ribas Figueras, with his work Ilha do Farol, was declared the winner of the XXX ‘Valldaura-Memorial Pere Calders’ novel prize.
The event will be attended by representatives of the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès; the Vice-Rector for Innovation and Strategic Projects of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Rosa María Sebastián; and the authors of the books.
The event will include the presentation of the terms and conditions of the Literary Awards 2025.
