The Publications Service is a university publishing house that publishes and distributes its own books or in co-publication with other universities, institutions and public or private publishers.
As part of the Service's book publishing process, the originals submitted are evaluated by experts under the supervision of a collection director, in a procedure that certifies scientific and academic quality. When the book is accepted for publication, the Service's technical team guarantees that the editing and distribution process will be carried out with professional rigor and with all the guarantees.
Currently, the Service's main line of work in the publishing field is aimed at promoting the publication of books in electronic format and fostering open science.
